Great accommodation directly above a pub with access to very good food and a wide selection of drinks. Staff couldn’t do more fore you and all were welcoming and friendly. Easy access to good walks on Ilkley Moor and great amenities in nearby towns. Everywhere extremely dog friendly. Even the local taxi service was more than willing to transport 50kg German Shepherd. Thanks to Ilkley Taxis for helping us out. All in all looking forward to going back soon.

We loved staying, this was our second time there and it was just as good as the first. It’s beautiful decorated but also to a good quality standard. The beds are so comfortable (so much so we took photos of the labels to buy for home!) and the kitchen has the basics you need for the weekend. The staff at the pub were so friendly and helpful, and both meals we had there were great. The only feedback is in this hot hot weather, it would have been great to have flat sheets for sleeping as the duvets are very thick (lovey for winter!). Also a few hangers would be great as we had suits/dresses to hang. Both visits it’s said there would be a parking spot saved but there wasn’t, and it was busy this weekend with the weather and football so once we did have to park elsewhere.

The Hideout at the Hermit Inn is delightful - clean, comfortable, airy and well laid out. There were 4 of us staying, plus Labrador, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay without ever feeling as though we were under each others feet. The views from the bedroom window were amazing too!But the highlight of our stay was the truly delightful, engaged, warm and professional service we received from everyone at The Hermit Inn - through showing us where the key safe and apartment was, to dinner that night and then breakfast the next morning. Everyone was cheerful, smiling, incredibly helpful and polite - they made our stay twice as enjoyable and I would heartily recommend both the Hideout and The Hermit as somewhere you should go and stay if you're in the area.
