Heading upstairs, you will find a spacious, fresh and airy king-size bedroom with skylights set in the low-sloping ceiling. The annexe also features a soothing and stylish shower room. From the lounge, patio doors open out onto the private balcony which has outdoor furniture and distant views, making a lovely spot for a morning coffee. There’s also a charming patio area with garden furniture, offering an ideal space for dining out on a sunny afternoon.

Best known for its nearby moor, Ilkley is a characterful Yorkshire town with a welcoming array of shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants, and marks the starting point of the 84-mile-long Dales Way. Home to a cinema, golf course and the lovely Darwin Gardens, Ilkley lies along the southern edge of the Yorkshire Dales, and is a great base for visiting Ilkley Crags, Willy Halls’ Wood, White Wells, Cow and Calf Rocks, and Barmishaw Stone, all within 3 miles.
