About this property

Benefitting from all ground-floor accommodation, an enclosed garden and off-road parking, in addition to stunning views over the Dales, Bronte View Hideaway welcomes four guests, ideal for a family or group of friends looking to uncover the delights of West Yorkshire. Upon entering your new home-from-home, be impressed by a spacious open-plan living area, furnished to a high standard, and boasting plenty of plush seating where you and your loved ones can relax after a lengthy day. Allow the designated chef to rustle up a tasty dish in the well-equipped kitchen prior to settling down at the dining table or venturing out to the enclosed garden to tuck in; bask in your surroundings if the weather permits, popping open a bottle of bubbly and toasting to an unforgettable stay! If you begin to tire, retreat to either a king-size bedroom with handy en-suite facilities, or a double to unwind and rejuvenate ahead of another day of exciting adventures. When you’re ready to venture out, embark on a stroll to Holden Park where you can delight in a picnic, practise your swing at Branshaw Golf Club, or indulge some hearty grub at Newsholme Manor, The Golden Fleece, and Gillani's. Nearby you can also find your nearest convenience store, ideal for stocking up on the essentials; or ride the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway for five miles to take in the breath-taking scenery. The Bronte Parsonage Museum, the Wuthering Heights pub, The Bronte, leisurely strolls through Penistone Hill Country Park, and a walk to the lovely Bronte Waterfall are all located in Haworth, a town famous for its ties to the illustrious Bronte sisters. The historic Bronte Way, which runs from Oxenhope to Keighley, is also accessible to keen trekkers. Farther out is Skipton, which is the location of the impressive Skipton castle, a thriving weekly market, the Raven Tree Top Adventure, and the yearly Yorkshire Dales Food and Drink Festival, which takes place in July. Whisk your loved ones away on a memorable retreat to Bronte View Hideaway in West Yorkshire.

With a view of the Worth Valley, Oakworth is a little Pennine village that was made famous by the filming of the classic 1970 adaptation of E.E. Nesbitt's book The Railway Children. It is only a short drive from Haworth. Along with being close to Haworth and the moors, Oakworth also features a lovely ornamental park and is conveniently located near Keighley. The famed Bronte sisters, who lived close by in Haworth, were greatly influenced by the nearby moorland. Haworth offers a wide variety of curiosity and antique shops, lanes, and cobblestone streets that provide a lovely historical feel, all set against the beautifully described countryside from the book Wuthering Heights. The nearby Worth Valley Railway, an actual steam railway made famous by the movie The Railway Children, is a charming day trip destination with frequent service to the historic village of Oxenhope. The Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the Museum of Rail are just a few of the well-known tourist attractions in the region. A short drive will take you to the market town of Skipton, the entryway to the Yorkshire Dales, as well as to chic Harrogate, energetic Leeds, and bustling Manchester.
