Lothersdale 2 miles. Skipton 5 miles. Award-winning Street Head Farm is something a bit special! Taking its name from a little-known Roman route across open farmland, it is situated in a wonderful elevated position and offers incredible open views across glorious Dales countryside. The property is stone-built and has been completely renovated to offer superb holiday accommodation, which is furnished to a high standard. Care has been taken to retain its original charm and features include stone flagged floors and original beams. The owners live on a nearby working farm and personally welcome visitors.
Nestled in a peaceful valley of the Pennine Hills is the charming village of Lothersdale, just five miles from the market town of Skipton. At one time, this lovely little town was home to the famous writer, Charlotte Bronte, who went on to base Gateshead Hall from her novel ‘Jane Eyre' on Stone Gappe House where she was governess. Many of the visitors today come to the village for its excellent walking routes as it is situated along the Pennine Way - on the stretch from Cowling to Gargrave. The village pub is well worth visiting and serves food whilst the nearby town of Skipton provides an excellent range of amenities. Just a short drive away is the town of Haworth, the Bronte's home and the famous Worth Valley Steam Railway.

The accommodation was very cosy warm. The house was well equipped with everything you need. Views from the front of the house are awesome. Plenty areas to walk in open spaces away from everything.

The cottage is beautiful. Every room is gorgeous. The views from every window is awesome. Every thing you need is there. So peaceful. We sat in the lovely front garden once dark, for hours, looking at the stars. We saw Barn Owls,Kites, rabbits and Partridges. The facilities are wonderful. We spoke to the owners. Such lovely and kind people. We will go again with family and friends as such a large property. Our dog loved it, so many new smells and adventures...
