It is a lovely cottage in a great location for getting to Yarndale in Skipton and seeing other attractions in the local area. The house was tidy and well equipped. The beds were superbly comfortable. Instructions were clear and easy to follow and the host was very responsive. I would have left a 5* review except for one thing which was that when I used the bath it leaked through the floor to the kitchen. There was an isue with the plumbing in that the waste drain was not connected. We phoned the host immediately to report this when we realised there was an isue. We replaced the plug and bailed the rest of the bath into the sink, and spent an hour mopping and cleaning the kitchen and bathroom. Up until this point we were absolutely thrilled with the cottage. I understand that plumbing isues happen, especially in older houses, and that a plumber will fix this so that future guests are not affected. This incident did unfortunately ruin our stay and delay us.
