Head upstairs in the evening and choose from either the king-size bedroom or the double bedroom, each enjoying space to store your belongings and attractive decor, with both being served by the sparkling, neat shower room. The nearby village of Cragg Vale is something of a mecca for cyclists with the challenging incline rewarded by breath-taking views at the top and the village of Luddenden is also not far and is the location of Jerusalem Farm, a popular local nature reserve. The area is so beautiful it has been chosen as the location for a number of well known TV programmes including Happy Valley, In Loving Memory and Last Tango in Halifax. Nearby Hebden Bridge is a vibrant town well worth a visit with an exciting array of restaurants, bars, bistros, markets, an independent cinema, art galleries, and the picturesque Rochdale Canal. A scenic car ride over the moors takes you to the splendid Parsonage Museum which commemorates the famous Bronte family. The area is a must for steam railway enthusiasts who will enjoy the thriving Worth Valley Railway. Skipton is also an easy and scenic car ride away.
