Set back slightly from the main road on a small estate of terraced houses, Hawksclough Cottage is a wonderful destination for couples and small families exploring West Yorkshire. The front door opens directly into a pretty, open plan living space with a kitchen, a dining table and a sitting area with exposed wooden beams. In the sitting area is a comfy three-seater sofa, a woodburner and a window seat stretching across the width of the front window. Upstairs are two fresh, bright bedrooms where you can enjoy a good night’s sleep; one has a single bed and the second has a double bed and a double wardrobe. In the modern bathroom, you can kick-start your morning with a refreshing rainfall shower or end a busy day with a relaxing bubble bath! Stretch your legs along the Rochdale Canal towpath. The village of Mytholmroyd has two lovely pubs, a cafe and a bistro, whilst a mile away is the popular holiday destination of Hebden Bridge. It has a great selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as fabulous nightlife and an old cinema where you can treat yourself to tea and scones during the interval. There is also a mountain bike centre in Hebden Bridge, as well as an abundance of walks in the surrounding area. Nearby is Haworth, the home of the Bronte Sisters, Heptonstall and Skipton, that all make wonderful day out. A truly fantastic holiday home, all year round!

Hebden Bridge is a town in the Yorkshire Dales, home to the Rochdale Canal and a Victorian railway station. The town also boasts many interesting little shops and pubs and a cinema which serves tea and scones in the interval. There are great walks on offer in the surrounding countryside with the Pennine Way nearby. Also, visit Haworth nearby, home of the Bronte family.
