Lodge badly in need of refurbishment cheap furniture uncomfortable beds and also cleaning is questionable

Just returned from a 4 day break at Great Hadfield Lodges. I was really apprehensive about the trip due to the reviews, but I can honestly say these are either over exaggerated or extremely picky individuals who expect a lot fir what they have paid for. The only negative I can say is that the double bed mattress is in need to replacing. The lodges itself was clean and had everything you could possibly imagine from washer, dryer, iron and ironing board plus all the cutlery and crockery you would ever need. The hot tub was amazing and was topped up and cleaned daily . I can’t recommend the lodges enough , I would definitely return .
