Paradise Lakeside Lodges is a beautiful holiday park with a wonderful mixture of open grassland, ponds, woodland walks and an array of wildlife that is hard to find today. The park is only a few miles from York, and the stunning East Coast is only half an hour’s drive away.

The majority of the staff were excellent however one man was bordering on rude when we were having difficulty with a lock. He seemed to blame us. He did send someone else though who was very helpful. I would have loved to give a 10 for the other staff. The TV on the wall high up was not good. Please have them normal height. We are not slumpers. There was a lack of basic kitchen equipment like mixing bowls, shortage of glasses and knives and forks. The setting was lovely and the lodge was clean

The lodge was well situated along the fishing lane with plenty of space to park your car next to the lodge. The lodge is fully equipped with everything you need for the holiday and despite it not being advertised there is WiFi access that occasionally dipped, but still a bonus. Brilliant accommodation and kept up to date and clean.
