Dip Tub Den is one of three beautifully converted barns nestling on a working farm in the picturesque and quiet village of Skerne near Driffield in the rural heartland of the East Riding of Yorkshire. This beautifully presented barn offers ground floor accommodation throughout that has been tastefully decorated and furnished with guests’ comfort in mind. Keep an eye out for some of the more unusual items within the property which have been made by the owners from items found around the farm!
Step inside and the main living area is open plan featuring exposed brick work and original beams. Deep filled sofas surround a wood burning stove offering the perfect place to relax and unwind in front of the large Smart TV after a long day exploring the local area. The country style kitchen is beautiful and offers all the facilities you would expect in a modern holiday home whilst the dining table is perfectly placed to gather in the evening and enjoy some delicious home cooked meals. Along the corridor you will find a master super kingsize bedroom with en-suite shower room, and a further zip and link super kingsize bedroom. With deep filled mattresses and luxurious soft furnishings, you will have a great night sleep. A house bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle completes the accommodation.
French doors lead out from the main living area into a large, enclosed garden and patio area. Here you can enjoy an early morning coffee before heading out for the day or perhaps on your return in the afternoon you can spend a while relaxing in the hot tub.
This family run farm has been in the hands of the owners for the past four generations and has all the farmyard animals you could think of including, cows, calves, sheep, lambs, horses, ponies, geese and chickens. Why not explore the 450 acres of land with some lovely riverside walks. The bustling seaside towns of Bridlington, Filey and Hornsea are within a short drive and for those wishing to explore the area by bike you can find the unspoilt rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds just a short drive away. This beautiful barn conversion is the ideal holiday home for your Yorkshire holiday.
Dip Tub Den can be booked together with Cattle Crush Cottage (UK35988) and Mulberry Cottage (CC253015) to accommodate up to 18 guests.

Lovely modern clean cottage. Good welcome pack. The enclosed garden was ideal for the dogs. Luxurious hot tub at the end of the day. Unfortunately we were not able to take advantage of the 450 acres of farmland to explore, as stated in your advert, because of the dogs. This was one of the main reasons why we booked the cottage. However we found alternative walks around the beautiful village of Skerne. The neighbours were extremely friendly. All in all we enjoyed a very pleasant relaxing week.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the area Dip Tub Den has everything you need in one place and is comfortable and spacious which is brilliant also lots lots to do in the area, however the Hot Tub although a great addition isn’t really private as other guests can see you in the hot tub Other than that we had a great time

Overall a truly lovely place. The sofa was not the one advertised - it was a 3 seater, really low, old sofa which was very worn. Beds were comfy and the furnishings were lovely. The two bathrooms were pretty new and wonderful to shower in. We also used the Hot Tub a lot and thoroughly enjoyed it! The kitchen was pretty well equipped, but could do with more cutlery and crockery if you wanted to use the dishwasher. We went during a heatwave and there was no shade at all outside in the garden until about 15:00, so we had to stay inside (even a parasol would have been helpful). The fabulous floor fan provided was a god-send. It's about a 5 minute drive to Driffield High Street, where you can find Tesco, Lidl, B&M and lots of shops, cafes and take-aways. We've had a great week staying at Dip Tub Den and would consider coming again.
