An enjoyable May week in the countryside. Beverley was more difficult to get to than expected. A fair amount of tractor noise as it is by a farm. Comfy bed and furniture. Excellent shower crying out for a caddy. Well equipped. Great outdoor space for our dog. No Wi-Fi but 4G signal most of the time. Streaming ok.

Really loved this cottage, in an excellent qiiet area with lots of birds visiting the garden including a woodpecker, even saw a barn owl hunting over the field to the rear of the cottage and heard a little owl calling every night. Mrs Taylor the owner is a lovely & very friendly lady (thanks for the welcome pack ) Everything in the cottage is provided & even though it was a little smaller than the usual ones we have stayed in we found it to be perfect & value for monry 😀Can't understand why some people have moaned about anything in this cottage as we couldn't find anything negative. We will definitely be staying again in the future 😀

The Old Chapel was a glorious place to stay, the main attraction being the conservatory. We spent a lot of time there soaking up the sun and watching visitors to the bird feeders. The building was small but had everything that we needed for the week. It was very comfortable and felt like home. Mrs Taylor was very welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. While we were there we visited Flamborough Head and Beverley Minster. Cherry Lane garden centre and it's cafe were a treasure that we only found at the end of the week.
