This wonderful single storey property is situated in the hamlet of Brind near the market town of Howden in the East Riding of Yorkshire. From the moment you arrive, through country lanes, at the impressive electric wrought iron entry gates and proceed along the long tree lined drive, bordered by paddocks with grazing horses, you know you have arrived at a truly tranquil country holiday location. If your first impressions of the property and location are good, your expectations can only be exceeded when you arrive at Stables Cottage. Privately located at the end of the drive and to the rear of the owner’s family home, adjoining open countryside, the single storey cottage has been completely renovated and refurbished to a very high standard, whilst retaining its charm and character and has all the amenities required for a truly relaxing, luxury country holiday. From the parking area, you walk along the path through a delightful wild meadow and private patio, complete with hot tub to relax in, reclining chairs, BBQ, tables and chairs for alfresco dining. Following the path, you pass through the cottage garden and second dining patio, and arrive at the level access entrance. You enter a cosy sitting room which leads into a farmhouse-style dining kitchen. The kitchen has a range cooker and large fridge/freezer. There is a utility/boiler room with a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Leading off the kitchen through double doors you enter the main sitting room which has a Smart TV with Freeview and a woodburning stove, this room also enjoys access to the garden and patio area. There are two bedrooms each with a king-size bed, en-suite shower room and Freeview TV. A further luxury is the separate bathroom, with extra-large bath! Internally the spacious cottage has a true ambiance with many exposed beams. Furnished to a very high standard and with central heating and double glazing you may be sure to feel comfortable at Stables Cottage at any time of the year. Local facilities are catered for in the nearby market town of Howden, with the larger town of Pocklington being a little further afield. Howden is a small historic market town in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It lies about 20 miles south-east of York. The town of Howden is dominated by its Minster, which leads to a Georgian town centre, with narrow cobbled streets and restored buildings with shops, coaching inns and tea rooms, and a small market which takes place each Friday. Pocklington is not too far away within the Vale of York.
