Located just a stroll away from the town centre of Hornsea, and five minutes from the beach, Blackwood sits in the grounds of the owner's home, Ristonville, which was once home to Hornsea Pottery designer John Clappison. Renovated in 2023, this modern detached hideaway provides a warm welcome to guests wishing to escape and explore the delights of the Yorkshire coastline.
This cosy bolthole boasts a light and airy open-plan living area on the ground floor, and delightful master bedroom featuring walk-in wardrobe on the first floor. Offering a place you can call home whilst spending days discovering the surrounding area, Blackwood is located near to cycle routes, such as the Trans Pennine Trail. As an added bonus, the owners can provide bike storage. The coastal roads and towns are also perfect for scenic drives. Be sure to walk down to Hornsea's beach promenade for the sunrise - a memorable sight well worth getting out of bed for!
The dining area has direct access from the front door to the south facing private patio area where there is an egg swing chair and further relaxed seating for two. Enjoy al fresco dining on a balmy summer night. Private parking is available directly outside the property. It retains much of its old charm as a historic seaside destination, enhanced by the modern amenities.

Property was in a good location with easy access to the town of Hornsea and the beach. The facilities in the property were of a high standard and it was well appointed.

The property gave you the WOW factor, perfect, we loved the detail and it was very stylish with quality fittings....... We were very comfortable with our stay at Blackwood. The added bonus wad we had on site parking and it was very handy for the town and beach all in walking distance. Could not fault anthing, we will certainly be making a return visit.
