Well-equipped for a family retreat, the cottage offers all the charm for a memorable holiday exploring the attractive coastline and rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds. Step into Little Daisy Cottage and enter straight into the comforting sitting room, the plush sofas and fireplace make a relaxing setting, with a large flatscreen TV to complete the room. The kitchen is appointed with everything needed to rustle up a delicious feast, which can be enjoyed in the pleasant courtyard. Head upstairs to find the three bedrooms, including the master bedroom with a king-size and en-suite shower room, as well as a double and single.
After a day of exploring the beautiful coastline, look forward to a relaxing soak in the bath, accompanied by an overhead shower so you can decide which you prefer. Little Daisy House sits in the market place of Hornsea, a busy though small East Yorkshire coastal town. Located close to shops, pubs, cafes and the lovely Hallgarth Park the property is also just a ten minute walk to the beach. The beautiful Hornsea Mere, Yorkshires largest fresh water lake, is only a five minute walk away. Hornsea is a fantastic holiday location, with a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants within short walking distance of the cottage.
Less than a mile away is a sandy beach and elegant promenade, where you can enjoy an afternoon stroll whilst tucking into some traditional fish and chips! Enjoy the long sandy beaches or stroll along the elegant promenade before dinner, plus visit nearby Hornsea Mere, with its various water sport activities.The RSPB reserve at nearby Bempton is well worth a visit, with its colonies of nesting birds, and for a little culture there are numerous stately homes within easy reach of this Hornsea holiday cottage, including Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House. Further places of interest can be found throughout the chalk landscapes of the Yorkshire Wolds or in the bustling town of Bridlington.

Hornsea is a quintessentially British seaside town found on the East Coast of Yorkshire. It offers a peaceful Blue Flag beach, and a lovely promenade, along with a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Once well known for its pottery production, the town is now home to Yorkshire’s largest freshwater lake which boasts over 250 species of birds and plenty of opportunity for sailing and fishing.
