Site Description
Set on a unique inland island within a few minutes’ walk of the historic village of Stamford Bridge - with shops and a choice of pubs. An ideal base to visit all the attractions of historic York and the Yorkshire Moors. Flamingo Land Theme Park, Castle Howard and the coast are all easily accessible.
Weir park also boasts the David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation.
Security Deposit
Weir Country Park are charging a £50 refundable security deposit for all our accommodation, this will be taken by a card swipe.

Wet room a bit smelly with a mouldy slip mat and bad drainage, blind in wet room also broken. Rest of caravan ok

The only let down to the holiday was the caravan, I didn't realise we'd booked a disabled holiday home. You'd also think with the extra cleaning time given for covid it would be spotless sadly this wasn't the case for us. We had to wash all the plates and cutlery, finger prints on the mirror and cracked glasses.Don't get me started on the bathroom. Also the windows were filthy.

The caravan was very old fashioned and made for disabled so the sink was really low which hurt my back I don’t feel it’s a deluxe caravan as iy had a smell to the fabrics I couldn’t use the living room sofa pull out bed and it’s stunk of damp the window latch broke while I was there but didn’t effect me using window just worrying I would be charged however I wasn’t , it’s was spacious and the beds were very comfortable
