A beautiful ground floor studio property, attached to the owners' 17th century house, on the edge of Austwick, one of the most popular villages in the Dales. Thoughtfully restored and individually styled, this Austwick cottage has been elegantly furnished to provide quality accommodation in a wonderful location. This cottage in Austwick offers superb facilities on one floor with level access. The open-plan living area has a king-size bed, small modern kitchen and sitting and dining areas. Add to this a separate shower room and guests have a perfect romantic retreat, somewhere to get away from it all and enjoy a Dales visit at its finest.
This cottage in Austwick is only a minute's walk from the village green and excellent local pub, and just twenty yards from the front door is The Traddock, an award-winning hotel and restaurant. Ideally situated in this beautiful part of the National Park, this Austwick cottage is in an excellent location for exploring on foot or by bike. The market towns of Settle and Kirkby Lonsdale are nearby and the impressive Three Peaks and Malham Cove are not far away. Take a trip on the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. A fabulous Austwick cottage holiday location.
Arguably one of the finest areas for walking in the region, the village of Austwick provides an excellent base for ramblers looking to explore the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Full of limestone pavements and scars, caves and open moors, this diverse and varied scenery offers a wealth of wonderful cycle tracks and walks through areas full of natural interest. In addition to boasting an excellent local pub serveing home cooked meals as well as a country hotel for an extra special night out, Austwick also has a shop and post office to meet visitors daily needs. As one of the less well-known villages in the area, this wonderful little settlement offers a quiet location off the beaten track and away from the crowds. With the towns of Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale, Skipton and Kendal all close by, Austwick provides peace and quiet without leaving you feeling marooned.

We dont think there is any one thing that would improve our stay .The owners went over and above to make our week enjoyable . They even offered to wash our clothes to dry them if required , The owner offered to purchase some thing l needed from town . They went over and above to Make our stay enjoyable . We would not hesitate to stay there again. It is a ideal place for walkers .

A very good pub just a few minutes walk too with great food. Perfect location if you want to do the three peaks.

Accommodation very clean and a comfy bed. Being a very mature lady I did have a problem with the microwave which was situated rather low in the unit making it difficult to read the settings. Apart from this I enjoyed my holiday with walks in beautiful countryside.
