The Yorkshire Dales National Park lies to the north and the Forest of Bowland National Landscape to the south, while the Lake District lies to the west, also easily accessible by car in under an hour.     Such a great place to stay, had a great time yes the parking is a little tight but with care no problem. We had everything we needed and more. Overall 10/10.

    Such a unique house, beautifully presented and decked out. Attention to detail is very high and everything is amazing quality. Location is great for hikes etc and so near the village. The book collection is also excellent! The only thing that really negatively impacted our time here was the parking situation. I don't have a big car and there really is no proper room to maneuver. Parking on the street or elsewhere isn't helpful for luggage and shopping bags so parking needs to be near the house, and the allocated space requires a 20 point turn to get in and out. Otherwise, the accommodation itself is truly wonderful.
