The Wainstones is a spacious pod, offering stunning views of the Cleveland Hills, with accommodation for two people in sleeping area with a double bed, with the added bonus of a sofa bed suitable for children. Dogs are accepted in this pod. The large outside area which comprises of a paved area, together with a decked area to the front, is fully enclosed with fencing to offer secure space for children and/or dogs. This area is furnished with a timber picnic bench. Zero Gravity chairs to the decked area. A large hot tub is sited on the paved area.. The wainstones pod was perfect if you had a dog as you had your own enclosed outdoor space which I'm sure in the better weather you could make more of. The only thing I would suggest is building a small outdoor boot store with a roof under the eaves of the pod to keep dirty boots in.

Lovely cabin on a small site ideal for some peace and quiet and much needed relax time.The cabin was lovely and clean however very compact - not ideal if you have a large dog. The cabin had 2 pans, a frying pan, fridge, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery and plates, bowls, cups and glasses.Bedding is also provided as well as towels however, you are requested to take your own towels for the hot tub and, if youre going as "two" and are planning on using both the bed and sofa bed, to be able to sleep seperate, make sure to message in advance regarding "extra" bedding. I wasnt aware of this as I assumed with the cabin having the option of both, that the bedding would be there to use regardless. When I messaged the owner to request the bedding I was asked if I could manage without for the first night and they would source additional bedding for the second evening.Additionally, when staying, the weather was horrific, with terrible winds and rain.. this caused an issue as the main door had dropped on its hinges so although it closed, it did let in rain at the top and a cold wind.If the weather was dry it wouldnt have been an issue, but still something that needs resolving. I did speak with the owner regarding this who said it had happened before and he would look into it.Overall, despite the slight issues I had whilst staying, I would go back, but most probably alone or with a partner and no dog.

Excellent accommodation and location.Very clean, quiet and great views.Staff/owners were so welcoming and friendly. Would recommend and will definitely be returning
