My sisters and I booked for a few days away, and we couldn’t of chose better. The lodge was clean, equipped and the added bonus of the hot tub was fab! The downfall was it was quite small, there was 3 of us and the lodge was 2-4 person, we just managed. The only real negative was how slippy the decking gets, they’re really should be winter mats / turf placed on the decking. Tony the maintenance guy is a massive asset to the whole experience. Just a phone call away 24/7, he was friendly , helpful, would go above and beyond to make your stay as good as it can be. His recommendations was spot on too! Would come back and recommend this place just based on how amazing tony is!

Not impressed with the cabin we had

Check in was 1530, arrived at 1520 to be told the cleaner hadn't started our lodge so could we come back at 1700, went back on time to a clean(ish) cabin that had dirty dishes put away, no toilet roll with the old tube still in the holder, the couch(sofa bed) in the living area was so uncomfortable and blood stained, we had to drive 40 minutes to Skipton for blankets to make it bearable as we had booked for 3 nights, definitely not worth the value for money, i wouldn't go back if it was freeThe trains passing didn't bother us but definitely cause a little noise
