A lovely lodge in an amazing location. Ideal for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. The lodge was an ideal size for my family of five. There were a few minor issues that affected my scores, like the sofa bed beeing uncomfortable so we just used the sofa cushions on the floor to sleep on. The sealant around the bath needed replacing as it had gone slightly black. A lamp shade was missing in the main bedroom and the outside light by the door was not working. These things however would not stop me from returning in the future.

If you want a break in the middle of nowhere then this is perfect for you. We arrived to a clean lodge 13 with everything you need for a weeks stay. Only downside was when booked we thought we had booked a 2 bedroom lodge with a double in one room and 2 singles in the other but when we got there we had a double bed in one room and just a single in the other so my son ended up sleeping on a bed settee which was a inconvenience having to put it up and make it and then put it all away every day. I say that this lodge is perfect for a family of 3 but for us as a family of 4 with it consisting of 3 adults and 1 teenager it was to small for us really. Hottub was lovely although again to small for 4 and could only fit 3 in at a push.
