Lottie's Loft in Grassington is highly praised for its homely charm, cleanliness, and prime location. Guests appreciate the well-furnished and comfortable accommodation, with thoughtful touches like Christmas decorations and welcome gifts. Despite minor issues with maintenance and parking, the property remains a favourite for its cosy atmosphere and proximity to local amenities.

The majority of guests report that Lottie's Loft is immaculately clean and well-kept, with only a few isolated comments about minor cleanliness issues. The overall high standard of cleanliness is consistently mentioned.

The location of Lottie's Loft is frequently highlighted as ideal, being centrally situated in Grassington with easy access to the village square, pubs, and local walks. Parking challenges are noted, but do not significantly detract from the positive location reviews.

Guests find the property comfortable, with a particularly cosy bed and well-thought-out furnishings. A few guests mention the mattress being too soft, but overall, the comfort of the property is well-regarded.

The facilities at Lottie's Loft are generally well-received, with the property being well-equipped for guests' needs. Some maintenance issues such as a dripping tap and wobbly pan handle are noted, suggesting room for improvement.

The thoughtfulness of the host is evident in the provision of welcome gifts and festive decorations, which are appreciated by guests. However, it is politely noted that such gifts, while delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.

About this property

A lovely first floor studio apartment, formerly a blacksmith's workshop, in the heart of popular Grassington. Lovingly restored, Lottie's Loft has been individually styled and furnished to provide top quality accommodation in a superb location. There are excellent facilities, with a well-equipped kitchen, open plan living area, a super king-size bed, a separate dressing room and an open ceiling with exposed beams and Velux window. An ideal romantic retreat, or simply somewhere to recharge the batteries and enjoy Dales life at its finest, Lottie's Loft is a minute's walk from the village's wide range of shops and pubs, while Grassington's Dickensian weekends and festivals are not to be missed! The area is a walker's paradise, with beautiful walks along the river to Linton Falls, as well as more challenging walks into the nearby hills. An outstanding holiday cottage, not to be missed! Note: Can be booked with Ref 2317 to sleep 4.

Grassington is one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Traditional stone cottages and shops are clustered around the cobbled market place, offering exceptional shopping facilities for a village of this size, with a monthly farmer's market offering a mouthwatering range of organic and homemade local produce. Situated on the River Wharfe, with the extensive Grass Woods to the north of the village, this is a superb walking area. Down dale is Bolton Abbey with the Abbey ruins, the Priory and the famous "Strid Walk". A little further is the elegant town of Ilkley, overlooked by the famous Ilkley Moor. Up dale are Kettlewell and Buckden boasting spectacularly beautiful limestone scenery. With many other beauty spots scattered throughout Wharfedale, Grassington provides a great base for exploring the local area and all that the Dales have to offer, with Brontë Country and York also being within easy motoring distance.
