There is spectacular woodland scenery and views to be enjoyed a short walk from the doorstep and for children there is an indoor climbing wall, heated outdoor swimming pool in the warmer months, a play park, cycle track, as well as local gift shops and a local pottery centre. Nearby are Yorkshire's breathtaking Three Peaks, Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen Y Ghent.
