About this property

A delightful, stone-built, semi-detached cottage, on the outskirts of the attractive village of Ingleton, 7 miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. Completely re-built, this lovely Ingleton cottage has many outstanding benefits, including excellent soundproofing and heating, yet has also been lovingly styled and furnished by the owners to ensure a first-class holiday cottage, ideal for the wonderful Three Peaks area of the Dales. This Ingleton cottage has a warm, snug sitting room with patio doors, three lovely bedrooms, a modern bathroom and stylish kitchen/diner. A traditional old pub is 'en-suite', so to speak, being just a ten second walk away. With numerous walks from the doorstep of this Ingleton cottage, across meadowland, woodland and along the beautiful winding river to the famous falls, and with the attractive market town of Kirkby Lonsdale within 7 miles, the cottage has plenty to offer.

The Dales countryside offers wonderful walks and cycle routes, with the famous Three Peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent just a stone's throw away. An ideal Ingleton cottage retreat for family and friends alike.

The village of Ingleton nestles under Ingleborough, one of the famous Three Peaks, on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and offers a good range of shops, pubs and places to eat. The centre of the village is pretty with narrow and winding streets, centred on a tiny market place. The village's well known White Scar Caves (a mile outside the village on the Hawes road) are open to the public and have adazzling display of stalactites and stalagmites, caverns and a huge underground lake. There is a superb circular waterfall walk ("Falls Walk") which takes in some impressive cascades.

The bed was so very comfy and we slept really well. Just everything was excellent, too much to say without writing an essay.
