Step inside and discover a welcoming open-plan living space brimming with character. High vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and a contemporary, well-equipped kitchen blend seamlessly with the building's rich heritage. At the heart of the room stands the impressive original forge hearth, where a blacksmith once smelted and shaped iron. Today, it houses a cosy wood-burning stove, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxing evenings after a day spent exploring the Dales.
The living area offers comfortable seating and dining area, whilst a few steps lead you to the well-appointed bedroom, complete with a sumptuous king-size bed. Drift off to sleep to the soothing sound of the beck flowing just outside your window, then unwind at the end of the day with a long soak in the full-sized bathtub or refresh yourself in the separate shower.
Outside, your own riverside patio provides a truly special setting for morning coffee or an evening drink. Overlooking the beck and adjacent to the village bridge, it's hard to imagine a more picturesque spot to sit and watch village life unfold. You'll also appreciate being just moments from Kettlewell's three renowned pubs, making a well-earned meal or a relaxing pint effortlessly accessible after a day in the hills.
With private parking directly outside, a superb deli just across the road, and a selection of charming shops and eateries within easy walking distance, The Smithy offers everything you need for an unforgettable escape in the spectacular Yorkshire Dales.
