A delightful, stone-built, three-storey terraced townhouse, situated in the centre of the popular market town of Settle, 6 miles from Malham. Lovingly restored, Bridle Cottage is decorated and furnished to a high standard throughout, and provides warm and comfortable accommodation including a modern fitted kitchen, beamed sitting room with exposed stone wall, a spacious master bedroom, a modern bathroom and two additional bedrooms. An ideal home for family and friends to get away from it all and enjoy Dales village life, Bridle Cottage is ideally situated to enjoy the splendid walks from the doorstep and the many attractions of the town, including the historic market square just fifty metres away. Nearby attractions include the Three Peaks and the Settle to Carlisle Railway line, renowned for being one of the most scenic railway routes in Britain. With the Dales and the Lakes within easy touring distance, this is a superb holiday destination at any time of the year.
Situated in the south-west rim of the Yorkshire Dales National Park is the bustling market town of Settle. Nestled beside the largest outcrop of limestone in Britain - a region of scars, cliffs, caves and potholes â this pretty little town is set against a backdrop of some of the most picturesque scenery in North Yorkshire. Every Tuesday, the town's market place is filled with stalls offering a wide variety of crafts and goods whilst throughout the rest of the week the local businesses surrounding the market place thrive. There is a good selection of restaurants and pubs and the town also boasts an excellent public swimming pool. Three days a week, the Victoria Hall is transformed into a cinema, providing visitors with all the activities of a larger town. The famous Settle-Carlisle Railway is also a huge draw and runs regular trips across some of the most beautiful and inspiring upland scenery in the country.
