It's very comfortable, clean, spacious, furnished to a high standard, has everything you need throughout the rooms, and lovely, welcoming touches. The owner has put a lot of thought into it. It's a perfect location for anyone wanting to walk the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, and only 15 minutes walk from the railway station. We parked our car in the designated parking space on arrival, then walked and used the train in the following days until it was time to drive home. We'd like to thank the owners for making their beautiful, unique accommodation so homely.

The location is ideal for exploring the area. The little touches of luxury - prosecco and excellent flapjack to greet us, jacuzzi bath and towelling robe after a long day's walking, made our break seem extra special.

Walk to two local pubs, many local walks. Also places to visit a car journey away. We went on the train to Carlisle from the local station. Plenty to do in the area. The cottage is delightful. Very well equipped and lovely little touches. Bottle of milk, flapjacks, Prosecco on arrival. Everything you need in the kitchen, great parking. This cottage is highly recommended.
