Set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, this terraced cottage is in an ideal place to explore the beauty of the National Park both on foot, by bicycle or by car. It has a rear patio with a sunny aspect, outdoor seating, as well as a front pebbled area with seating and views of Pen-y-Ghent. Situated on the Pennine Way between Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent, the property makes an ideal base for those wishing to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge. The Settle-Carlisle railway runs through the village, and the occasional steam train can be spotted as well. Settle boasts a variety of independent shops, pubs and restaurants, along with a swimming pool and golf course just 5 miles away. A little closer to home, there are two pubs in the village just a short stroll away. Shop and restaurant 5 miles, pub 500 yards.

Great cottage to use as a base for attempting the 3 peaks. Would love to go back another time. Only thing missing was a bath...that would have been much appreciated after doing 3 peaks!

The facilities in the cottage were very good, but with three ensuite, I thought 1 could have contained a bath. The oil fired heater was a God send along with the emergency power when we suffered a power cut on the Saturday evening.
