Enter from the cottage garden at the rear into a beautiful light filled kitchen equipped with modern amenities and dining area boasting patio doors offering views across the farmland as you sit at the dining table. Step down into the comfortable sitting room and further dining room to enjoy more of the rustic charm this cosy cottage has to offer. Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms, one with the added benefit of an en-suite whilst the other has duel aspect views and the most fabulous feature wall decor.

Outside in the attractive gardens, both at the front and back, guests are able to enjoy the rear garden laid to lawn whilst showing of their barbecue skills. A perfect spot to take in the surrounding countryside on a balmy summers evening. Should guests seek to relax completely wander down to the The Bull your local pub, for homemade, locally sourced lunch or dinner, or better still enjoy breakfast each weekday morning at Utopia, Broughton's bistro set with in the walled garden on the grounds of the Sanctuary.

Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Broughton Sanctuary has been home to many production companies over the years, hosting numerous shoots throughout Broughton Hall and the magnificent grounds, including Emily, Gentleman Jack, Ridley Road and of course All Creatures Great and Small, as the home of Mrs Pumphrey and her infamous dog Tricki Woo. Rich with family history, Broughton Sanctuary's present owner, Roger Tempest is the 32nd generation. His sister, the cartoonist Annie Tempest, has used this childhood home as her inspiration for Country Life’s tongue-in-cheek humour, Tottering Hall, headed up by Dick and Daffy and their loyal black Labrador, Slobber.

The Sanctuary provides wonderful walks, cycling trails, wild swimming, sweat lodge, sauna, and access to the award winning Avalon Wellbeing Centre.

The nearest EV Charger is located in the car park next to the Utopia restaurant. This is not within the grounds of 2 Sulphur Wells.
