Guests say

Anglers Cottage is praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and well-equipped kitchen. The location is appreciated for its proximity to amenities and the beauty of Wharfedale. Guests enjoy the characterful property and the warmth provided during colder months. However, there are concerns about the maintenance of certain facilities, such as the shower power and dated appliances. The outdoor space and parking are noted as areas for improvement.

Guests consistently describe the property as very clean and spotless upon arrival, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The property's location is well-regarded for its stunning surroundings and easy access to the dales, though the proximity to a busy road requires caution.

The cottage is considered comfortable, with a warm atmosphere and sufficient space for large groups, although some guests mention a 'tired feel' to parts of the property.

While the kitchen is highly praised, issues with the shower, dated appliances, and inaccuracies in the property description regarding bathrooms and a piano detract from the overall facilities score.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so this category cannot be scored.

Exactly how it’s described! Relaxing break for me and my family

Plenty of space for the children to play inside. However, there isn't a garden for the dog but, fortunately, there is a grassy area over the road, just be aware of fast traffic. We kept the doors locked at all times as it is situated on the road which was a worry with young children. There are only two bathrooms, not four.....the other two are just toilets. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay with a huge table for family meals. The largest bedroom has a wet wall inside due to a problem with the chimney apparently. At times we had water running down the wall which wasn't ideal and made the room feel damp. Parking outside the cottage isn't very good but you can use the pub car park which is just a few metres up the road and serves good food. The views from the cottage are beautiful, all in all we had a great stay but, please........sort the chimney!!
