A vestibule leads you inside, where you will be welcomed by a wonderful hallway, dividing off to a series of rooms. The first set of stairs sweeps up to a family shower room, with three bedrooms situated on the second floor, two with en-suite and another with a dedicated bathroom on the landing. Leaving you spoilt for choice once more, the third floor is equally as elegant, with two further bedrooms; the first is elevated by open eaves, velux windows, and a chandelier, whilst the second comes as a twin formation with a zip/link option.
The exterior represents the cottages charm wholeheartedly; home to a large patio area with furniture and a lawned garden for an idyllic finish. To the North, the landscape rises to the fells, moors and valleys of the Dales and to the South are the wetlands of the Ribble Valley which, in turn, sweep upward to the wilderness of Bowland. The village benefits from several large, tree lined, village greens, with footpaths leading direct to the surrounding hills, and two excellent pubs with first class cuisine. An impressive cottage in a fabulous location.

Each bedroom had its own en-suite, the beds were a dream, it was almost like staying in an hotel but it was all yours. We had the best time there despite the weather , I would most definitely recommend it, also the owners were at the end of the phone and couldnât have been more helpful. So I say thank you very much for our stay at Eldon house

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay at this wonderful house. Plenty of room for our group allowing parents and grandchildren on one floor and grandparents on the next. The hot tub went down well after returning from walks. We also tried the Maypole for Sunday dinner and would recommend. From the moment I booked to checking out, the owners were on hand to answer any questions. Very clear information provided to get you started.

Perfect family gathering for 8 with plenty room for all. Station in the village made it a great opportunity for us all to go into Skipton. Booked dinner Saturday evening in the Maypole pub - lush meal, great value and a lovely welcome. The surrounding area was great to explore with a fantastic cheese shop just outside Settle, a lovely town with lots of individual shops and nice pubs. We had a great loop walk around the Ribblehead Viaduct on Sunday and the weather was superb all weekend. Fabulous!
