If that wasn’t enough, the area abounds in some of the most challenging and scenic cycle routes in the country - the Tour de Yorkshire is a popular event in every cycling enthusiast’s calendar. And if cycling doesn’t get your wheels turning, there is plenty of golf courses within 10 miles or less, walking trails, geocaching, fishing and more – an outdoor enthusiast’s dream.

Known as “The Gateway to the Dales”, Skipton is well placed for visiting all that the Dales has to offer, whilst York, the Lake District and the West Coast are also within easy motoring distance.
