Journeyman Loft is praised for its excellent central location in Skipton, cleanliness, and well-equipped nature. Guests appreciate the proximity to transport, shops, and eateries. Some concerns about noise from a nearby nightclub and access for those with mobility issues are noted, but overall experiences are positive, with many guests enjoying their stay and the thoughtful touches provided.
The property consistently receives compliments for its cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being 'spotlessly clean' and 'well maintained'. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.
The location is highly praised for being central and convenient, close to public transport and local amenities. However, some guests mention noise from a nearby nightclub and difficult access due to steep roads, which slightly affects the score.
Many guests find the property comfortable, mentioning a 'huge comfy bed' and a 'cosy and warm' atmosphere. Some concerns about uncomfortable beds and noise affecting sleep quality are noted, which slightly lowers the score.
The property is described as well-equipped with a variety of appliances and conveniences. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as problematic Wi-Fi, dim lighting in the bathroom, and a sticking folding door, which impacts the score.
While some guests mention thoughtful touches like milk and cookies, there is not enough consistent information across reviews to accurately score this category. As such, the score is set to null, and guests should note that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

We appreciated the milk and cookies she left for us too. We even met the owner of the cottage and she was delightful. The cottage was comfortable and certainly had everything we could need. The linens and towels were a lovely quality and the bed was very comfortable. The bedroom was a great size for a cottage. The description of being over three floors was accurate and not much of an issue. However, the steep and narrow lane driving up to the cottage was an issue because our rental car (BMW X5) was too wide to navigate the narrow space. We had to park in a public car park for the week. A smaller car would have no problem. There are steep stairs leading up to the cottage and a steep lane way which I found a bit trying because Iâm waiting on a knee replacement. Again, this was described accurately prior to us arriving so Iâm certainly not complaining but feel anyone with mobility issues should be aware of this. Our stay was overall very pleasant and we enjoyed our visit to Skipton.

Car barely fitted with mirrors nearly touching walls both sides & car sensors going nuts on the bend before the steep hill. Dog friendly accommodation but nowhere to safely let dog out in night or early morning. Supposed to be WiFi but says no internet connection when you try to connect. Accomodation nice & in close proximity to everything.

In fact only a couple of minutes walk. For the less mobile this may be difficult as it is on a steep incline walking up. But only a few metres. With around 10 steps leading up to the front door. The cottage was very well equipped for all our needs. Cosy and very comfortable for 2 people. The bed is a king size one of the best nights sleep we've had. A super shower easy to use. Cottage was spotlessly clean.
