Grisedale Coach House in Skipton is a spacious and well-equipped cottage praised for its peaceful location and comfort. Guests appreciate the scenic Yorkshire countryside, the proximity to local amenities, and the suitability for groups and families, including pets. Some guests noted areas for improvement, but overall experiences were positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
The property generally maintains good cleanliness, with most guests finding it clean and welcoming. However, a few guests noted minor cleaning issues, such as limescale and toothpaste residue, suggesting room for improvement in this area.
The location is highly praised for its peacefulness and scenic views, with easy access to Skipton and local walks. It is considered ideal for a relaxing getaway or a walking break.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage spacious, meeting the needs of groups and families. The presence of multiple bathrooms and a warm atmosphere contribute to the overall comfort.
While the cottage is well-equipped, some guests mention that kitchen items and equipment are dated and need replacing. The lack of an enclosed garden/patio was a concern for those with pets or children.
The owners displayed thoughtfulness by providing a decorated Christmas tree for guests arriving over the festive period. While this gesture was appreciated, it is noted that such personal touches may not be guaranteed for every stay.

The cottage was great, spacious and exactly as described. The issue for us is that when we got in it was so so cold like a fridge, and it look the whole night to feel warm. I think it would be great if the owners could put the heating on with enough time in advance - my mother is elderly and disabled so it was an issue. There were no batteries in any of the remotes - again, whilst we were mostly out walking my mother spent more time inside. Overall though, the cottage was really well equipped with comfortable beds. Great having 2 fridges and the small room for muddy boots and coats!

Fantastic place for walking, very easy to get to Grassington on foot. Very quiet area, several great pubs/restaurants/cafes close by. Perfect property for several people, really sociable being open plan. Will definitely be back.

Excellent deal and value for money, perfect place for family get together. very dog friendly, lovely to have 2 en-suites and a bathroom and 3 twin rooms and a double to suit family needs (lots of adult grandchildren!). Warm and comfortable even in the winter. Beautiful area and setting. Easy check in, good communications and instructions. Would recommend to friends and stay again if we plan another Yorkshire holiday.
