Set just a short drive from Grassington which is well served with individual shops and tea rooms where there are on-going events throughout the year. A little further afield lies the historical market town of Skipton with its wide sweeping high street and bustling market. Again, well served with shops, pubs and restaurants and enjoying a Norman Castle, canal and golf course.

Great house in the heart of the national park. Hard to find any faults really

Prospect House photographs well but is even better in reality. The rooms are more spacious, partly due to the very high ceilings. The fixtures and fittings are all top quality and very smartly conceived. The exterior flows into the interior, which all compliments the surrounding village and scenery. The low maintenance garden is wanting for nothing as the backdrop of the rising hills is the main event. Clever touches like lighting sensor switching, USB charging points and LED backlighting all add to the living experience. The property is 10/10 and the only slight niggle for us was the lack of a microwave but there are other ways to heat food. Initially the allocated parking space looked tight but after two accomplishments it then seemed relatively, easy even with a large SUV. This was pointing uphill and reversing in. The accommodation is luxurious, the setting sublime and the village is very quiet. Highly recommended and certainly one of the best properties we have stayed in - and we are particular.
