From scenic walks straight from your doorstep to visiting nearby charming local pubs and shops, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Horse riding and trekking are available from the adjacent riding school and Kilnsey Trout Farm complete with fishing, cafe and farm shop is ½ mile away. For cycling enthusiasts the route of Tour De Yorkshire runs past the end of the lane and for walkers, the wonderful Dales Way runs on the hillside above. A well stocked convenience store with local butcher is 2 miles away and the nearest pub is ½ mile.

If you like walking, then this cottage is ideally situated, with walking from the doorstep or just a short drive away. And being in Yorkshire Dales National Park, the scenery is stunning. The barn conversion is to a high standard with original features seamlessly juxtaposed with the needs of modern day living. We would have no hesitation in recommending this holiday cottage to others.

There are some excellent walks from the doorstep as well as in the local area.The hosts are very friendly and helpful and have appointed the cottage very well and we expect to return to this property in the future.
