Wake up in the master bedroom in a comfortable kingsize bed adorned with soft linens and plush pillows and open the blind to views over the River Wharfe and the Dales landscape. A large wardrobe provides plenty of storage during your stay. The second bedroom offers a cosy retreat for an adult or children in a small double, with a built in wardrobe. The bathroom consists of a bath with shower over and the bathroom mirror offers a built in shaving point.
From scenic walks straight from your doorstep to visiting nearby charming local pubs and shops, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Horse riding and trekking are available from the adjacent riding school and Kilnsey Trout Farm complete with fishing, cafe and farm shop is ½ mile away. For cycling enthusiasts the route of Tour De Yorkshire runs past the end of the lane and for walkers, the wonderful Dales Way runs on the hillside above. A well stocked convenience store with local butcher is 2 miles away and the nearest pub is ½ mile.

Excellent, spotless accommodation in a wonderful location. Friendly owner lives next door so any issues can be dealt with.12 miles to skipton a lovely market town and 3 miles to Grassington, one of the prettiest villages in the Dales.Plenty to do and see. Stairs to the upper level where all accommodation is located above a ground floor porch, so stairs might not be suitable for those with mobility issues.A couple of things would have improved the holiday1. A small private garden area with a table and with a parasol. There was a bench and small table on an incline at the front of the property but not suitable for hot sun or privacy or to let the dog run free.2. Main bedroom needs a blackout curtain as the sun streams in at 3.30 a.m. I had to buy an eye mask to sleep.Otherwise Perfect. Highly recommend

This is our third time staying at Tophams Laithe and once it didn't fail to impress. Greeted on arrival, excellent weather and although we had visited places before they were well worth a return visit. My husband loves the walks and wishes to return at some stage on his own to walk the dales until his feet drop off.

A very well appointed space in a beautiful little village. The views are stunning and while there are few local amenities, there are lots to choose from within a relatively short drive.
