Such a little gem of a cottage! (This was our 4th stay now!)Quiet, peaceful location with enclosed garden which is great if you're travelling with your dog.Cosy log burner for Winter stays and a great decked area overlooking countryside for Summer. No pub or shop in the village BUT only a short drive to the lovely Bedale for everything you might need!!

Shepherds Den was a much needed break from the world. The space a great balance of both indoor and outdoor, nestled into established farmland to which the internals nod back to. Great space for getting away with everything you would need and more! Would highly recommend for exploring either the Yorkshire Dales or Moors with Bedale les than 10mins down the road. Look forward to staying again in the future!
