We stayed in The Cherry Tree Lodge which lovely decorated and big for a 1 bed lodge however quite expensive for 3 nights. We didn’t have a hot tub but had a massive shower and bath. The only thing we didn’t like about the lodge was the funny smell that lingered and stayed with us for the whole weekend. I suffer from Asthma and at first I thought it was damp but couldn’t see any signs of damp so wasn’t sure if it was coming from the carpets. Our heating wasn’t working the first night we arrived so we advised the staff of this the next morning and within 10 minutes a member of staff came round to fix the boiler. Even after the heating the lodge the smell didn’t budge which didn’t help as I had to keep using my inhaler as it was going for my chest so we ended up spending most of the days/nights at the on-site pub instead of relaxing at the lodge. Overall the lodge was lovely only the funny smell let it down.
