No smoking.. This cottage is the perfect romantic couple’s retreat, with its own hot tub situated within a private woodland. Meander down with a cup of coffee and catch the sunrise or, as the sun goes down enjoy a drink on your own private hot tub decking. Accessed from the upper floor lobby of the former stable block, Tack Room Cottage is the boutique sister cottage to Hayloft at Dalesend Cottages. As the name would suggest, it once stored the tack (saddles and bridles) for the horses of the stable block below. In keeping with the history of this former stable block, it is decorated with saddles and bridles. A stylish open plan area, with beautiful high ceilings, gorgeous roof beams, and luxurious fixtures and fittings. The dining table looks out over the stunning parkland. The living area has an L-shaped sofa to relax upon and watch your favourite movies on the smart TV and there is a cosy wood burner to keep you warm when the nights turn chilly. You can watch the television from the luxury of your kingsize bed, and be pampered with underfloor heating in the en-suite bathroom. Stroll out and down the drive and enjoy a walk round the ancient parkland beside the stream. In summer, sit on the east side of the house lawn and watch the sun set. A magical moment to remember. In the warmer months enjoy a game of tennis within the beautiful grounds.

Out and about there is so much to explore in the Yorkshire Dales with amazing walking trails and popular cycle routes. You can easily reach Wensleydale, Swaledale, Coverdale and Arkengarthdale from Dalesend Cottages, and there is a wide assortment of very good country pubs and exceptional restaurants to enjoy along the way. Tack Room makes an ideal base from which to enjoy Bedale, Leyburn, Masham and the wider Yorkshire Dales, with spectacular scenery and picture postcard villages.
