Cottage is beautiful, clean and fairly well equipped. Internet not working for first 4days which would have been a problem if you had children on devices. Small settee quiet hard but other one felt like sitting on the floor. The towels leave a lot to be desired so suggest you take your own. Never been anywhere before where a jaycloth has been cut into one small piece for you to use in kitchen, thought this was very mean.

Wonderful stay in this beautiful property. Gorgeous views from the patio and garden. Private and quiet location. And if you’re wondering if the bath is as good as it looks…. YES! Would rebook in a heartbeat.

This was our second stay at the property. The location is ideal for local walking, visiting nearby market towns and the coast. It’s very close to the A19 for getting around but it is also very quiet and peaceful. The property is lovely. It’s spacious but homely and very comfortable. It had everything we needed. There are local walks if you can follow an OS map or you can walk along the very quiet road into Osmotherley where there are pubs and a cafe. Cod Beck Reservoir is a 10 min drive away and a lovely walk with good accessible paths.
