The spa town of Harrogate is also close enough for a day trip, where you can enjoy Harlow Carr Gardens and the famous Betty’s tea rooms. Not to be missed either is a visit to the beautiful city of Durham. The east coast is also easily accessible for an alternative day out. Shop and restaurants 2 miles, pub 100 yards.
