The hub of the sumptuous getaway is its open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which has been decorated in an opulent yet eclectic style, exuding comfort and warmth throughout. Admire the wall decorated with sports memorabilia then play a game or settle on the sofa in front of the TV. Pull the doors open in the summer or light the wood burner on chilly days. Prepare home-cooked meals over in the kitchen then dine up at the breakfast bar or the table. At the end of each day away at this fascinating retreat, head off for a great night’s sleep in one of the two bedrooms.
