A beautifully appointed property. Great directions, both after booking and on the day of our journey (Nina recommended a certain road to avoid ice). A warm welcome from Nina on arrival. A little tricky negotiating the steps in the dark (there are lights on the steps but they’re a bit weak although much nicer than a big spotlight), but once we’d done it a couple of times it was fine. Spotlessly clean and homely with all mod cons. Very much appreciated the welcome hamper (butter, milk, bread, biscuits, fizz), and there was one for the dog too (blankets, bowl, treats, poo bags)! Wonderful shower with fluffy towels. Plenty of space in the open plan kitchen, dining space and living room. Bedroom is a good size with plenty of storage space (and hangers!), and the comfiest, warmest bed we’ve slept in. We did find the property a little warm at times, even on a freezing day, but there are instructions in the folder to adjust if necessary. The views are just lovely, and it was wonderful watching the clear night skies too. Thank you Nina!
