A few minutes’ walk away is the local pub, with a second serving food just a little further in Spennithorne. The bustling market town of Leyburn is just a 10-minute walk away. Set around its charming market square you will find an array of restaurants, cafés and pubs with a selection of interesting shops to browse around. The horse training town of Middleham with its historic castle is just 3 miles away, and the horses can be seen daily walking up to the nearby gallops, and Castle Bolton and the stunning Aysgarth Falls are a short drive away. Brook Nook Cottage and the village of Harmby make the perfect place from which to set out to explore Wensleydale and its many walks, cycle routes and attractions.
