The site itself is lovely with many nice looking lodges of different designs, and its in a great position for the short walk into town across the field. However I would not recommend the 'lean-to' we stayed in. Positives:The hot tub was clean, and lovely and hot on arrival. The lady who greeted us was very friendly.Negatives:The 'lodge' smelt very damp and you could see damp marks coming through places where the stains had obviously been painted over. No hooks, nowhere to hang things to dry e.g. coats, robes etc. The wardrobe contained all of the cleaning equipment so smelt a bit funky. And there weren't many hangers as coats and robes took up most of them. There are no shelves/surfaces for your things, make up, clothes etc. Only one side of the bed had a bedside cabinet, I made mine out of a cool box with a chopping board on top. The kitchen is right next to the bed and has no door. Granted the space is very limited but perhaps a concertina or pocket door could have been factored in. The fridge is loud during the night. There's not much between you and the neighbours. Ours didn't use their 'inside voices' so we could hear them very clearly. The settee is so big you can't see the tv from sitting up in bed. There's no gate into the property's garden which felt a bit odd.
