Loved the outlook onto the river with the old mill and the remains of where the waterwheel was. The cottage was private set within the owners, grounds and had, a lovely courtyard. Felt safe. We left our car most of the week as used the Little White bus service to go walking. Hawes is, a lovely town with a nice selection of cafes gift shops and outdoor clothing shops. The Creamery well worth a visit too. It was lovely to return to the cottage after a day out walking and also had a cosy real fire. Would return here and missing it already. Communication with the owner was, excellent too.

The cottage is clean & cozy, with all essential items. To relax in front of the wood burner after a good Fell walk is idyllic. The Yorkshire moors are beautiful. There are plenty of walks immediately from Hawes or a short distance away. There are some good pubs to eat & drink in Hawes or again a short drive away. Would highly recommended this cottage.
