Guests have enjoyed the comfortable and well-equipped cottage, appreciating its great location for exploring the Dales with walks right from the doorstep. The nearby pubs add to the charm, though some are not serving food. The property is ideal for a relaxed getaway, offering lovely views and a base for walking adventures.

The cottage is generally well-received for cleanliness, though a mention of dust and hardened coffee suggests a slight oversight. No persistent issues are noted, indicating a high standard of cleanliness overall.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to walking routes and local attractions. The accessibility of pubs and scenic spots like Asygarth Waterfall adds to the appeal, making it an excellent base for exploring the Dales.

Guests find the cottage comfortable and cosy, suitable for both short and extended stays. The only drawback mentioned is a chilly bathroom due to a non-functional towel rail, but this seems to be an isolated issue.

The cottage is well-equipped, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, the non-working towel rail in the bathroom indicates a need for some maintenance, which slightly affects the overall facilities score.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to assess this category based on the available reviews.

A great location for exploring the Dales, either by car or walks straight from the front door. The cottage is very comfortable with everything we needed for the week. The only issue we had was with a rather chilly bathroom as the towel rail didn't seem to work. Other than that, all the electric heaters worked fine. For pubs, The George in Thoralby has recently reopened and is very welcoming, but isn't serving food. The Street Head Inn is also in walkable distance (take a torch!) and does great food, but expect to book a table at weekends.

Nice, well equipped comfy cottage. Places to visit near by. Really nice pub near by within walking distance but don't advise walking there in the dark. Definitely would stay there again if visiting the dales.
