The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The beds were comfortable as was the seating in the living room. With a lovely dog friendly pub across the road, plenty of walks from the front door and nearby areas it was the perfect location for walkers and dogs. Although there was no parking at the front of the house there was plenty of room at the side of the property so parking was never a problem. I would definitely stay there again. We loved it.

Accommodation was lovely and ideally located, and the villagers was very friendly. The local convenient store was very good, as well as the local pub opposite the cottage. it was an ideal location for Hawes, Layburn etc. This cottage is well worth booking for those walkers looking for suitable accommodation. It will be my intention to book with Sykes again. I would also like to thank the Sykes Team for all their support.

Cottage was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The cottage looks small from the outside but is very spacious two big double rooms and comfortable lounge with loads of books, games and smart TV to relax in the evenings. Great location good walks from the doorstep. The mobile Fish and Chip van comes on a Tuesday evening about 6pm we missed as we had already booked at a pub. Shame. The welcome pack and doggy treats were very much appreciated and we would certainly recommend staying here.
