Just outside of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, you'll be surrounded by an array of stunning landscapes and nature to match. Within the market square you can find a selection of shop,s pubs and restaurants to enjoy amongst the historic castle. A short journey away you can find the bustling market town of Leyburn, offering its own array of wonderful attractions and hidden wonders, it's well-worth a visit.

The cottage is very centrally located with easy to access public parking on the square just around the corner. Food and service at The Wensleydale were both superb and we also really enjoyed the drinks and homely atmosphere at The Black Bull. Middleham is a very picturesque and interesting base for exploring local walks and villages. Highly recommended

The cottage is well equipped, the beds are very comfortable and it is generally clean. The kitchen area has a breakfast bar with 4 stools and a very small table with only 2 chairs. On our first night there was no hot water so we weren't able to have a shower which was very inconvenient. The shower was working for the rest of our stay but was not hot enough. We're not keen on tepid showers.
