We liked the apartment. It had a good spacious lounge, up to date decor, well equipped kitchen with quality crockery and utensils. The king size bed was comfy and the en-suite shower was very good- lovely and clean and modern. We were here on the hottest day of the year and the temperature in the apartment was lovely as it was an old stone building. West Witton was a good central choice for us as it’s near Leyburn, Hawes and one of our favourite places - Reeth and Arkengarthdale. The two local pubs give an excellent choice for food. Only reservation was that local walks straight from the doorstep were limited.

We enjoyed everything about number 3 west Witton. The village is so peaceful , located just under penhill scar. Stunning scenery around the cottage and i heard a cuckoo on our last day. The size of the cottage is perfect for 4 and as there were only 2 of us it felt huge. It was fully equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfy. The wensleydale hiefer a short walk away serves amazing food. Would love to visit again one day.
