LOCATION

In the heart of the Howardian Hills our lodges provide the perfect base for exploring the many and varied delights of Ryedale. Just a ten minute drive will get you to the ever popular theme park, Flamingo Land – a day packed with family fun – or the more sedate and historic pleasures of Castle Howard. Walk on the beautiful Yorkshire Moors, ride the steam train from Pickering to Whitby or visit Eden Camp. Enjoy an ice cream or candy floss on the beach of the very traditional seaside town of Scarborough. York, with its gothic cathedral, old city walls, Shambles and the Jorvik Viking Centre has enough to please the most enthusiastic of sight-seers. Visit Ryedale’s string of bustling market towns: Malton is just three miles away and has a weekly street market and monthly Food Festival. With plenty of restaurants of all types and hospitable country pubs serving fine ales and wines you won’t go hungry or thirsty as you take in the sights.

THE LODGES

Each of our three lodges offer light and airy accommodation with contemporary décor and furnishings. All lodges are recipients of Booking.com Traveller Review Awards, ranging from 9.6 to 9.8 out of 10.PLEASE NOTE: EACH LODGE ACCOMMODATES 4 GUESTS, PLUS AN INFANT USING THE TRAVEL COT IF REQUIRED.

VICTORY GREENLAND

This lodge provide a spacious living and dining area with two sets of sliding doors onto the decking which houses the sunken hot tub and terrace furniture. Flat screen TV and CD player are featured, and wifi is complementary.

The kitchen is fully-fitted – double oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle and toaster – and equipped with everything guests need in the way of china, cutlery, glasses, pots, pans and cooking utensils. There is also a utility room.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, TV, walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom.

The twin bedroom has two three foot single beds, built in cupboard space and direct access to the ‘Jack & Jill’ shower rooms which can also be accessed from the hallway.

There is a private parking space adjacent to the lodge.

THE RYEDALE LODGE

A spacious open plan living and dining area has double doors leading onto a front balcony, and a single door giving onto extensive decking with sunken hot tub and outside furniture. There is a wall-mounted flat screen TV and wifi is available.

The kitchen is fully-fitted – oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle and toaster – and is equipped with everything guests need in the way of china, cutlery, glasses, pots, pans and cooking utensils

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, a chest of drawers, ample built in wardrobe space and an ensuite shower room.

A twin bedroom has two three foot single beds, a free-standing chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe.

The family bathroom has a toilet, hand basin, bath tub and over tub shower.

Private parking for four vehicles is adjacent to the lodge.

THE DENEB LODGE

Named after the brightest star in the summer constellation Cygnus, Deneb Lodge offers a sparkling open-plan living space with stylish contemporary furniture and fittings.

The accommodation benefits from decking with a private sunken hot tub and terrace furniture. There is a double bedroom with en-suite, a twin-bedded room and a family bathroom. The kitchen is fully-equipped and there is a spacious open-plan sitting and dining area. Towels and bed linen are provided.

Bed linen and towels are provided in all three lodges but some guests like to bring extra towels or robes for use around the hot tub.

PLEASE NOTE WE ONLY ACCEPT BOOKINGS FOR 4 guests plus an infant using the travel cot.

GUEST EXPERIENCE

Our lodges are located on a small and friendly park surrounded by unspoiled countryside. A peaceful rural setting yet close to all the treasures Ryedale has to offer, and with the absence of light pollution a night time soak in the hot tub can be a star-spangled experience. It is an ideal get-away spot for couples and families alike.

AVAILABILITY & TERMS

All three lodges are available throughout the year (excluding Christmas & New Year) for stays of two nights or more. Prices vary depending on the season. With no set change-over days we can be flexible regarding arrivals and departures. Discounts and special offers are often available for mid-week stays and autumn/winter breaks.

Please note we do not cater for hen nights.
